The Heritage listed Davilak House was built c1840 by the Manning family with materials from the surrounding Manning Estate. It was one of the first small farms, vineyards, substantial limestone houses and dairy & stables in the colony.

The House burnt down in a fire in 1960 and the Ruins are now under conservation treatment.
