Join the City of Cockburn Libraries for the start of commemorative ceremonies for the 100th Anniversary of WW1.

The 10th Australian Light Horse Regiment AIF was the only AIF light horse regiment recruited in WA during WW1. The Regiment trained on the beach at Coogee prior to departing from Fremantle, and joined the 3rd Light Horse Brigade in Egypt and served dismounted at Gallipoli.

The opening of the exhibition will include a floor talk, followed by morning tea. The exhibition includes full size horse, soldier, artifacts, photographs and identities.

The exhibition will be at Success Library until Saturday 14 March before moving to the Memorial Hall Gallery on Monday 16 March where it will be until 23 March.
